Reasons for a visit
What people come in for
These are the reasons people most often tell us when they book. A visit starts from you, not from a list.
Aches and tension
Stiff necks, tight shoulders, a sore low back, joints that complain in the cold.
Sleep and stress
Lying awake, waking at three, or a mind that will not slow down.
Digestion
A stomach that is easily upset, a heavy feeling after meals, or appetite that comes and goes.
Headaches
Tension that wraps the head, or headaches that come with the weather or a long week.
Seasonal changes
Sneezing and stuffy noses in spring, tiredness in the hot months, coughs in winter.
Cycles and change of life
Cycles that are painful or uneven, or the heat and broken sleep that come with menopause.
What we do and don't do
We say what people come in for, not what we treat, because every person is different and results vary. Acupuncture and herbs can sit alongside your doctor's care. They do not replace it.
See your doctor first for anything sudden, severe, new or getting worse. Chest pain, trouble breathing, sudden weakness or a severe sudden headache means calling 911.
If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988, the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, any time.
Tell us what brings you in
Say it in your own words at your first visit. We will listen first.
